When I am not tinkering with computers and code, I am taking pictures trying to keep up with my daily photo, or riding my bike, or playing with the dogs.
Buddy just started getting the hang of jumping up on the swing. Clancy hates for dear life. He shakes if his body is not touching another human being on the swing. Rather comical.
The water bottle is for when the dogs get unruly and start barking at other dogs, cats, walkers, animal life… ect.
Sarah needed a photo of a necklace she made tonight. I made her do some artsy-fartsy photos. I like this one the best.
I’ve never been much of a ‘car’ guy. If it works, gets me where I need to be, then I’m all good. I like bikes though. The different gear ratios, the spokes, pedal clips, handle bar tape. From the outside they look like a simple machine with a crank and a steering column, but really there’s a ton of geometry and physics that goes into each bike. It’s why one rides really stiff, or another has a little extra cushion.
For her birthday Sarah has expressed interest in getting a road bike. I think she got a little jealous of how many hours I spent on my bike working up to do a century. And to be honest, it was a little lonely out there riding solo. So tomorrow we’re going bike shopping for a road bike for her.
I don’t know how she does it, she teaches, goes to school, cooks, but still has time to do crafty projects. Above is embroidering that Sarah has done for a crafty swap project.

My parents must like Sarah because you don’t know how much of a stretch it was for them to give this hat to her.
Sarah got an ‘A’ in her first grad class, that was not only a class that she should have taken towards the end of her program, but also got high remarks from her professor on her last paper annnnd her professor suggested it was possible that her paper could be published.
Now only 2 1/2 years to go!
Mrs. Shoo has been making good use out of her sewing machine I gave her for Xmas. I’ve been impressed with what she’s put together. She’s put together several shirts and a skirt. I think she’s working on a tote bag right now. I’ll shoot a few pictures when she’s finished.
I can wire an outlet, but there’s no way I could sew a seam.
I’m lucky that my wife’s birthday is the day after April Fool’s Day. Makes it easy to remember. I forgot about the daily photo before it was too late and everyone was asleep. So in place, here’s Mrs. Shoo at Pikes Peak. We’re hoping to get back to Colorado this summer for an official honey moon / vacation.
I won’t tell you how old she is, but… maybe last year’s post will help.
