When I am not tinkering with computers and code, I am taking pictures trying to keep up with my daily photo, or riding my bike, or playing with the dogs.
The photowalk was a great success. Matt & Karen Penning, Dan aka Hamguy, Jeremy Wilburn, and Courtney Westlake all made it out to the park. The trees were filled with color. There were probably a dozen or more other photographers taking family pictures. It was literally a Kodak moment all around.

Sarah and I went out to Site M, Jim Edgar Panther Creek State Park today. I’d been out there last week mountain biking and wanted to come back and take some pictures. We did a 5 mile hike around Drake Lake with the dogs.
The dogs were in heaven. Scents, grasshoppers, foreign poop. They had it all.

Where did the summer go?
Seriously! It was just May and we were getting ready for wedding season. The days are getting shorter. I noticed the other night coming home from a bike ride that the sun was setting at 7:30. Back in June, the sun was out till 8:30!
We’re headed to a friends tomorrow for an end of the summer party. That almost sounds depressing. Maybe it should be a pre-season exhibition to fall party? Just a thought.
