Today it reached up to the mid-70’s. The was also in rare form with clouds.

Some days I envy my dogs. I came home for lunch today and let them inside. They both plopped down on the couches and started napping.

Lazy.

Buddy has earned the nick-name ‘Little Red Wagon’ because unless it’s 68 degrees outside he’s slow as a … dog… We end up pulling him ahead while Clancy is charging a clear path back home.

Buddy just started getting the hang of jumping up on the swing. Clancy hates for dear life. He shakes if his body is not touching another human being on the swing. Rather comical.

The water bottle is for when the dogs get unruly and start barking at other dogs, cats, walkers, animal life… ect.

Ya, it’s hot.

Dogs love ice.

Forecast says that it is suppose to warm up by the end of the week. I feel a late afternoon cold coming on once it hits 65.

Sarah had class tonight so me and the “boys” are in the basement. I’d say they were plenty comfy.

It’s been a while since the dogs have been on the blog.

Buddy gets a bad rap as being the ‘fat dog’ of the family. Although he’s a plumpy 30~ lbs. and even I call him ‘tubby’, he’s actually pretty fast and agile. Now he’s not a long distance runner. He’s better described as a short distance sprinter.

His favorite game is pretty much catch me if you can. He loves running behind bushes and dodging in mid stride. He’d be perfect for the defensive line on a soccer team.

Sarah and I went out to Site M, Jim Edgar Panther Creek State Park today. I’d been out there last week mountain biking and wanted to come back and take some pictures. We did a 5 mile hike around Drake Lake with the dogs.

The dogs were in heaven. Scents, grasshoppers, foreign poop. They had it all.
