Lessons learned when planning a night out at the ballpark.

1. Pick a designated section to meet up at – especially if you never seen these people in real life.

2. A roster of people to look for.

3. A big sign “Spfldbloggers” and free tickets from Country Market.

It wasn’t a bad turnout considering that the people from Humzoo didn’t show up because of a mishap with a bounce house. I played a little pickup game with my cousin Ben tonight. The kid loves baseball and is a die-hard Cardinal fan. I teased him by naming our respective teams the St. Louis Chris’s and the Chicago Ben’s.

Such a fan of the game, he has having a birthday party at Springfield Sliders game, and on his birthday he and the family are going down to see a Cardinals game. He demanded that his name be up in lights on the scoreboard or it wouldn’t be a real birthday.

Johann threw the first pitch. Everyone up for it?

I inadvertently hacked the Humzoo tubes the other day and got to play around before I told Dave and he fixed the ‘bug’ and fired Denny.

Anyway, I’ve been going through some of my digital video for inspiration and to see if I can put anything together. I found the video above while uploading a new one to vimeo.com. It’s been forever since I’ve shot any video. My main focus for the past year has been with my SLR.
