The feathers in the chief’s headdress are actually dyed turkey feathers.
35 students have preformed the role as the chief. The only women to portray the chief was Idelle Stith Brooks in 1943 due to the shortage of male students during WWII.
None of the performers has been Native American.

Classic Gotshoo: Podcast 3
I am trying out a new flashed based video service called Vimeo. YouTube is huge, time to find something that not everyone knows about. Vimeo seems to be different in that you get a RSS feed to your videos, the gui for the video player is super clean, and quality seems to be much better.
The downfall was that I could not upload a MP4 (quicktime) file, so I had to re-encoded the files to 512k 640×480 WMV (windows). I think you might be able to get away with using mpeg.

Brainstorm.
Okay, I am ready to do a new podcast, but I do not know what direction to go with…
In the queue of ideas:
1. Mountain Biking with Shoo – Fade in’s and out’s of me riding by bike, killer 80’s music in the background, jumping some hills.. Maybe a crash or two. And helmets.
2. Nerd-alert! Windows Vista demoed for the masses.
3. Boy-o-Buddy – Montage of Buddy tearing things up and playing fetch. This is a given. These come periodically.
4. Springfield Nightlife – A look at downtown Springfield for those who don’t get out during the weekends.
5. Other.
