Has anyone caught this show before?
I like it.
BFS hearts the Plain White T’s and their hit “Hey there Delila.” I knew I couldn’t pass up this rendition done by the Showbiz Pizza Place band Rock-A-Fire. BFS this is all for you.

Pretty cool, but I am still a little weirded out by the animatronics. Too many greasy cheese pizza whack-a-mole moments at Showbiz.

This video is on the last leg of our Colorado trip. And you thought I had posted everything! I think at this point I have been driving for at least 10 hours. The majority of the driving was through Kansas, which is the worst state to drive through. It was such a boring drive I woke up GTG just to get video of the Weiner Mobile. As I describe it in the video, it was an epic moment.
I found this band surfing through my MySpace friends and non-friends. Never heard of them before this, but I like it so far. Kind of a folk-punk sound. They’ve got a bunch of live shows in the Internet Archive. I am listening to one right now.
The video to the song that got me interested in them.
Anyone else heard of them before and have any recommendations about them?

Above: I created this map with geotagged pictures from Flickr with the geotag: springfieldillinois. Of course, you can log on to Flickr and do the same thing; except this is with Microsoft’s Virtual Earth. I did this using Microsoft’s Popfly. Popfly is kind of a drag and drop framework based off their Silverlight. In fact, this only took me about ten minutes to put together. If you’ve heard of Yahoo Pipes - it’s kind of the same. This one is more for users.
The basic premise is that you take a data element and mash it up with something visual. Like taking your Flickr feed and displaying it in a flip book.
