Today I did the Tour de Corn, a bike ride done in conjunction with the Chatham Sweet Corn Festival. The course was a choice of 20, 31, or 62 miles long. I did 31.
I was really tempted to do the 62 miles, but I haven’t gotten in enough rides over the 30 mile mark yet. If you saw the blurb about me in the SJ-R, I stated my goal is to accomplish a century (100 miles). I am slowly making my way there - this week I biked a total of 110miles including today’s ride.
Today’s ride was great, it was a beautiful morning, the rain clouds were still hanging around with a little drizzle so the humidity was low and the sun wasn’t shining down yet.
