My cousin had the updated version to the Pocket Fisherman. The new version which should suitably be called the “Rocket Fisherman” shoots bait and bobber out a chamber. Pretty cool.

I wish I had more to blog about lately, but to tell you the truth everything has been on cruise control. Mrs. Shoo is enjoying her summer off and picking up a new hobby. I’ve been doing the normal computer stuff. Sometimes we get to catch an occasional ball game, but that’s about it.
I promise we’ll try to be more exciting.

The video above was a tribute / photo-montage-music-video to Terry, a buddy of mine. You wouldn’t suspect him as the dancing type, but he has a routine. A routine he supposedly did at the Shoo wedding, but I can’t remember. His routine is set to the music of Madonna’s Hung Up. Hence the music in the video.
He preformed this a few weeks ago at my friend Melanie’s wedding. There was a circle of about 60 people cheering him on and he was spot on. I only had my SLR so no video, but I think I got enough shots to capture the ‘awesomeness.’ Video would have looked horrible anyway without a spotlight.
There’s a reason why I have toted a camera along since the time of college keggers and weekend trips…

Man, what a great weekend. Got spend some time with the family and in-laws, went to a baseball game, put on a few pounds. I am not looking to getting up tomorrow and shaving off my week long scruff, almost visible in the photo.

Found this gem of a video while going through the archives. We had only had Clancy a few weeks at this point. Hard to remember he was once a puppy.

If you haven’t checked out Humzoo, Dave Heinzel and Denny Deaton’s creation, you need to now. D&D are getting ready to release a video feature for Humzoo and it’s going to be really cool. I inadvertently hacked the Humzoo tubes the other day and got to play around before I told Dave and he fixed the ‘bug’ and fired Denny.
Anyway, I’ve been going through some of my digital video for inspiration and to see if I can put anything together. I found the video above while uploading a new one to vimeo.com. It’s been forever since I’ve shot any video. My main focus for the past year has been with my SLR.
Again, checkout Humzoo. It tastes like cake.
My Dad and I - I think I am 8~9 here and the photo was taken at Cape Canaveral on a vacation in Florida. Notice the 35mm camera slung over his shoulder. Apple doesn’t far from the tree.
I think that might be a Delorian in the background.
I play a game with the dogs when they try to lick me. It’s called… how fast can you lick before I grab your tongue? It only takes me 2 or 3 times before I grab their tongue. It’s tormenting and hilarious at the same time. Yet, they keep on licking.
