I worked and lived in the Nick for several years. I come back to Spfld a couple times a year and always make it a point to come to the downtown area. Seems like it’s turning into a ghosttown lately.

Don’t know the last time you visited downtown, but I’d say it’s pretty busy compared to what it used to be over ten years ago. The amount of bars has doubled in the last five years, there’s a farmer’s market on Wednesday and Saturday, Cold Stone always has a line, and they’ve crammed another Lincoln attraction downtown. Still no Lincoln Fest though.
