Those shoes look familiar? My good friend John Romang did this painting. It’s going to be part of a show the weekend of April 19th. I don’t have all the information, but I’ll post it if John sends it to me.

I love this painting…and, yes, the green is part of the appeal, but I have to say, it’s a painting of my favorite shoes…and a beautiful painting to boot.
p.s. I think tomorrow it will be warm enough for me to wear my new choes that I’ve been waiting a month to break out!!

I couldn’t agree more with Betsy’s statement
I am far from being an art critic, however I know what I like when I see something. The benchmark of good painting in my book is when you see it for the first time and the painting draws you into the picture because it has that right tone or balane of color and contrast.
Bottom line - we like it.
Can we assume Mr. Romang will have a showing this May at the Capital Art Fair? We do hope so.
