Clancy sleeps.

Clancy sleeps

Watching dogs sleep can be rather amusing. They toss, they turn, they snore. And snore loud. For the last fifteen minutes I’ve watched Clancy move to five different positions. Right now he’s on the couch on his side with his butt up in the air and hind legs in the spread eagle position. This is why he is not allowed in the bed and is vanquished to the kitchen floor.

Bud is snoring up a storm right under the laptop. He loves to burrow. Another reason why he too is vanquished to the kitchen floor after things close up at the Shoo household.

The funniest thing has to be when they have ‘puppy dreams.’ Their whole bodies twitch, noses wiggle, and sometimes even a yelp. You have to wonder what they dream about; chasing small animals, doggie treats… bitches. Probably not so much on the last one as they were both snipped as puppies and really don’t have the ‘urges.’

Clancy yet again moved. He appeared as if he was trying to do the Soulja Boy dance. Well, it’s time for me to burrow in my bed.

How funny. Puffin is my snorer and can be pretty loud. She has even sat up (while sleeping) and barked. Cody has fallen out of bed several times only to give me the look of ‘what happened’. They are both big time snugglers when it is cold which is wonderful. During the summer, they prefer the floor.

I hope you’re not saying there is something wrong with a dog doing the Soulja Boy.

Just because your pups had the “snip snip jingle jingle” doesn’t mean they don’t love the ladies.
