Blogging for higher ed.

Congratulations to Brad Ward and Matt Herzberger for releasing their new site Bloghighed.org. Bloghighed is a RSS driven site that aggregates blogs focused on higher education, hacky sack tournaments, and college keggers. The site looks suspiciously similar to another blog aggregating site?

That would be because good ol’ Shoo lost to Brad in a PPPO - see comments - (Puppy Picture Post Off) and had to fork over the code to Spfldbloggers and work tirelessly for 2 months to help them build the site.

Actually that’s all a lie, but I bet Buddy would give away the secret code like the dog from Busch’s Bake Beans commercials.

It only took about a week to port over the code and get everything up and running. And most of the work was done on their side tweaking a few issues and customizing the CSS. Pretty cool stuff seeing something I created for leisure aggregating more than just YADP posts of Buddy and Clancy.

Good job guys!

One thing I forgot to tell you about, the secret back door…  Ehh, don’t worry about it. Like anyone uses ‘password’ as the password.

I was just getting ready to post my shout-out to blog.bradjward.com.

I can’t believe you let the password out, now I’m going to have to change it to 1234 or 0000 to be safe.

Everything is running smoothly, great work! Now get back to work, slacker. I know we both have a good 2 weeks of work piled up on our desk to start today. :)

Yeah, I right all the kegger and hacky sack posts, they seem to get the most views :)
    Thanks for all your help.

I still have to use my blog to give readers a view of college from a graduate students perspective. So you might get a hacky sack post from me too…haha. Next year, I will probably continue blogging, but will separate the two.

J-Dizzle - just find a graduate student to do your job, problem solved! ;)

Haha…yeah right…like there’s any money for that. I enjoy blogging for the school though too. But I don’t want to confuse too many people. Had I known you guys were doing bloghighed, I would have waited to switch my blog to wordpress and just left the one up at blogger…haha…bad timing on my part I guess.
