I’ve been wanting to a daily photo for some time now. What time better than now? Well, I guess I should have wiped off the smudges first.
For other daily photos:
By the way, the mobile spfldbloggers site is now working with external links in the iPhone interface.

Yeah! Welcome to the Daily Photo club. It is a beast that you will eventually hate every night around midnight when that clock is staring you in the face and you don’t have any good photos and you think to yourself “maybe I’ll just post another dog photo.”
Good luck with the adventure and I hope it makes a positive impact on your daily visitor stats. By the way, your stats chart was awesome. I don’t know what you were smoking when you put that thing together, but it’s totally rad in a very central-illinois-ish way.
I’ve confirmed that the external links from spfldbloggers DO work on my iPhone. Thanks for fixing that - I’ve been wanting to click through on several posts, but I knew I wouldn’t get anywhere.
Dave I’ll trade you 2 Ethan photos for 3 Buddy & Clancy photos. Throw in Mia, and I’ll give you a GTG.
You’re lucky on the iPhone fix. I was working on some other web related stuff tonight when I remembered that I hadn’t fix that bug. Ya for day dreaming.
Good luck! I did a photo of the day a few years back, and it really started to wear on me. Granted, those were the days of:
1) find picture
2) open photoshop
3) resize picture
4) save
5) ftp
6) link
Now I could just type a keyword into Flickr and get the photo I am looking for. Wouldn’t it be nice if someone made something that just pulled a photo from your Flickr account every day and posted it, similar to how del.icio.us will blog your links for you?
Brad, I don’t know if you’ve seen this option but you can post directly to your Wordpress (and other) blogs directly from the site. It creates a post for you with the picture included.
Now if I could get Picasa to upload to Flickr, then post, I would be set.
You guys and your fancy toys. There’s already an online tool that will do everything you’re looking for - it’s called Geocities. It’s very easy to use, as long as you know html, css, javascript, php, asp, perl, c++ and spanish. It’s gonna catch on one of these days.
