It’s Tuesday and I still have a wedding high. Or maybe I’m still drunk? Featured above is my beautiful bride in her beautiful dress being photographed by Dave Heinzel.
I was not allowed to look, peek, or even daydream about the dress till the ceremony. And I was warned multiple times that if I even caught a glimpse of it she call the whole thing off. Faithful to the moment she walked down the aisle, I didn’t even peek as I had to haul it from the hotel to the house.
She was so pretty, she was asked by the bridal store owner to model the dress in a bridal show this winter.

That is so awesome. She did look pretty friggin marvelous.
You should just make her put it on and walk around the house occasionally.
That’s funny, I didn’t even recognize myself. I was all “who’s that dude with the camera? I thought I was their only photographer!” But then I remembered that I have long scraggly hair and sometimes wear a coat.
Can you send me your photos? My camera was set on ‘manual’ the whole shoot and everyone’s really blurry. Also the exposure was all off. Maybe I’ll just steal some pictures from other online wedding albums and photoshop you guys in there. You’ll never know.
I’ll have the proofs to you soon. I think I ended up with 3 or 4 keepers from the day, and I just threw the other ones out. You can only look at 1 photo at a time anyway.
The sarcasm is getting thick in here…
Dave, You should’ve seen my face as I read your post. I went from amusement to shock to anger and back to amusement.
I also had one of my teacher friends read it. She had the exact same reaction. It was hysterical.
You had a cupcake dress! All of those “pick-me-ups” as my mom calls them look like the icing on a cupcake I think. Very pretty. I love the fall colored flowers…so rich! Congratulations again.
That dress is so gorgeous-some of us girls were trying to figure out where it was so we could go try it on. Not really-but if it was offered…..no-not really. It was so pretty. Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Shoo!
