The Jolly Tomale on Wabash will be no more after May 19th. Better get your fill of sanchos while you still can.
Welcome to Gotshoo?, proudly serving the inter-tubes since 2000. Gotshoo? is the personal of Chris Scheufele, that's me. I live in Springfield, Illinois with my wife and two dogs, Buddy and Clancy. I work during the day as an IT consultant and play at night with a freelance company called After Hours Development, and put together cool projects like Spfldbloggers.com
When I am not tinkering with computers and code, I am taking pictures trying to keep up with my daily photo, or riding my bike, or playing with the dogs.

Where’s the Tamale on Wabash? I can’t place it? Anyways I gave up on the Tamale when Nissan moved from Dirksen to West Wabash. I used to drop my car off, have a delightful lunch, and pick my car up AND be back to the office in an hour. Damn Nissan and their expanded show room!
It’s in the building that is across from Aldi and use to have Srgt. Peppers.
Interesting. That’s like 10 feet from my house… Next to the Sun Room! Gotcha Shooey!!! I completely forgot that was there.
That place was terrible anyway. Taco Gringo rules
Isn’t it in the building where Appletree Records used to be? Anybody else remember that, or am I too old? That’s where I bought my very first CD ever – ‘Ten’ by Pearl Jam. That’s back when CDs came in tall cardboard cases that were totally rad. I miss those.
Aaaahh… Appletree Records… last time I was in there I was looking for Journey’s live album “Captured” on vinyl.
God, I’m old.
And yes, I remember the long cardboard CD cases too–I liked them. You didn’t have to be freakin’ MacGyver to get them open.
