Dog gone tired.

I am working on some “work-work” right now and the dogs are passed out as I slave away on the computer.

When we went to the APL we brought in a sample of the fabric from the chair in the picture, and requested our dogs be that color. Pretty good color match.

This is also dedicated to SternO whom loves puppy pics in the morning!

I beg to differ. Clancy’s eyes are clearly open…

Also, Dave Heinzel, are you still around? I saw this awesome dude skateboarding around Westchester yesterday. The tricky thing was he was skateboarding WHILE pushing his 2 children in one of those hip, jogging strollers. The guy looked A LOT like you. Just wondering….

Okay, maybe not at that exact moment. But they were passed out and snoring 30 secs from the snapshot.

Nattie, you should comment on daveheinzel.com if you are trying to get a hold of Dave. I promise his site won’t send you naughty spam. However, I believe you have to have a valid credit card number to comment. Something about charging per number of words commented.

Thanks for the info Shoo-ey. If David requires credit card numbers, than I shall wait to hear from him on this website. Does he not care about what Clancy and Buddy are doing every day to check the site all the time? Like the rest of us????

And your mom just came down to my office. She’s so nice.
Why can’t all state workers be that nice to me?

My Mom isn’t actually a state worker. She just hangs out in the break room; reads and drinks coffee during the day. Gives her something to do, and no one asks questions.

    j/k Mom.

I don’t think Dave is hung up on the dogs. He’s got two poopers to watch himself. Not to mention that they’re the poopers you can’t put in a cage if they make an accident on the carpet. Well, at least, that’s what DCFS says.

Shoo, you and GTG are worst then most parents that show pictures of there kids to people everyday. I would hate to see when you actually do have kids how many pics will be up of them

    jager,

    * When/if we have kids, yes they’ll be plastered here on a daily basis.

    * This photo was taken at 1:30am. It’s better than taking pictures of myself at that time of day.

Jager, My puppies are cuter than most kids. Children look like prunes when they’re born and smell like rotten syrup as they get older.

And thanks, Shooey, for saying “if”…I appreciate that. And puppy pictures are much better than Shoo pictures.

GTG- Always good to hear what a teacher thinks of children…

Jager- Stop being mean and smile. This is (after all) Shoofly’s blog. So if he wanted to take pix and post all about the ginormis “doody” he made last week, he could. Plus, the dog pix are way better than mountain bike pix. Those disturb me sometimes.

Shoo- What you just described, regarding your mother, is a typical state worker. Soooo apparently, she is performing her duties to the best of her abilities.

    J/K Dava.

Nattie, The ones I teach are squirrels, not children. And they usually smell like pot or cigarettes.

    I

That was supposed to say, I love my job…

And I do like older kids…they just have to get out of that child-like stage. Fourteen is a good age, in my opinion.

  11. 11 Dave Heinzel

Shoo’s right - the dogs aren’t doing it for me. I need more nerd, and I need it now.

It is possible that you did see me pusing around my kids in their stroller while I was skateboarding. Unless somebody else was doing that too, but what are the odds of that?

  12. 12 Nattie

Right on Dave. I just wasn’t sure your little one should be that big yet… Westchester is a great place to walk. We have several routes mapped out if you’re interested in calculating milage…

GTG- I just had to give you a hard time. I think I’d fare better with young children cuz the sassiness and attitudes aren’t at an all-time hi yet. If you were teaching a 2nd grade class, I doubt they would have yelled at you for wearing a too-low cut shirt to trivia night… :)

Itching for a throwdown the next time we hang out, I see.

Just remember who threw the first dog pic…stone.

    ass

I had the pleasure of meeting gtg, buddy and clancy for the first time in the park tonight. gtg is as nice as can be. The boys were too busy checking everything out to hang around and talk. (gtg, I hope I didn’t freak you out.)

  15. 15 gtg

Marie, I will say I was surprised. I called Shoo right after I talked to you (that took some talent, as I was walking two dogs at the time), and we laughed. The boys were not on their best behavior, but they rarely ever are at the park.
