Beer drinking dog.

You may, or may not know this, but Buddy loves his beer. He kept tugging at my leg during the St. Pattys Day parade, so I had to give him a little. Good thing his paws are too short to drive.
Welcome to Gotshoo?, proudly serving the inter-tubes since 2000. Gotshoo? is the personal of Chris Scheufele, that's me. I live in Springfield, Illinois with my wife and two dogs, Buddy and Clancy. I work during the day as an IT consultant and play at night with a freelance company called After Hours Development, and put together cool projects like Spfldbloggers.com
When I am not tinkering with computers and code, I am taking pictures trying to keep up with my daily photo, or riding my bike, or playing with the dogs.

Hey man, just a heads up. Be careful with beer and dogs. Hops are not well tolerated by dogs and even small amounts can cause a reaction called malignant hyperthermia, which can cause death.
I have a dog who loves beer (and other booze as well). I think she was an alcoholic in a former life. I thought it was funny that she was always trying to get into my beer, but then I read a story about the dangers of hops, and now I’m terrified any time I have a beer around her.
There is a guy who’s made and mass-produced a non-dangerous product called beer for dogs. Here’s the web address:http://www.beerfordogs.com/
I’ve only given Buddy very small amounts, but thanks for the heads up. I’ll have to rethink Buddy the beer drinking dog.
No problem. I would have never thought of that. I always like to spread the word on those obscure dangers.
I plan on reporting this to the local aspca, or asspicka, as I like to refer to them.
naughty naughty shoo.
