Firefox has released version 2.0 and it is packed with a bunch of goodies. I just downloaded it today. I haven’t had time to dig through all the features, but here are some that make it worth the upgrade.

Spell Check. Spell check right from where you are posting online. Very cool. Why did it take so long to add this as a feature? Now how about a grammar check?

When you click the orange satellite feed icon, you are taken to a page that offers choices in where to bookmark your feed.

The defaults are Bloglines, MyYahoo, and Google Reader. I’ve been using a plugin called Sage to keep track of my feeds. I assume there is some interoperability with customizing it with Choose Application.
- If you crash Firefox or enter a wicked bad site, it will save all your information (tabs, sessions, ect..) so when it boots up it will act like nothing happened.
- Tabs are a little friendlier with close buttons on each tab. If you get a huge amount open, you can now scroll left to right through them.
- If your computer is a little slow, you can limit how much ram FireFox will consume.
Of course, there’s more to it than this. Checkout Lifehacker and their guide.
