Kick, push.

Buddy was being a good dog tonight so he got a spot on the blog.

Made a Big Blue Store run tonight. My nerves were just dying for some new music. I picked up Lupe Fiasco’s “Food & Liquor” and Demetri Martin’s “These Are Jokes.”

Demetri is a comic that I’ve posted before. He did the MySpace satire “I got 9000 friends.”

Listening to Lupe’s album first. So far it has been similar to an early Pharrell William’s album except with more chorus and better beats.

I don’t get Lupe. Maybe I will try harder.

I get loopy. I don’t know about Lupe.

Is “Food & Liquor” any good? I’d like to get it, but I’m scared. For me, hip-hop has been 95% crap since 1993.

By the way, “comments” is misspelled.

26thman.. I stole this theme from someone in Mexico. Still working on translating everything.

Food & Liquor is good. I would give it a 4 out of 5. I don’t know what kind of music you are in to or what you consider hip-hop - my best comparison would be a Kanye West album with edgier lyrics and beats.

However, I would recommend Atmosphere’s “You Can’t Imaginge How Much Fun We’re Having” over Food & Liquor if you were just getting back into the hip-hop genre.
