GTG and I went to the Cardinals ball game today with Betsy G, Rob, Dave G, G-Dad. Beatiful hot and muggy day for a game. Eight rows from the grass!
We witnessed a foul ball strike a shirtless beer-gut fan right in the kisser. A lot, lot, lot of blood. Felt bad for the guy. Really, I did. I was not allowed to talk about the blood to GTG for the rest of game… Something about gagging.
There is a secert dugout bar just to the left of section 137. Go down some stairs down a hall, open a dark door, and there you will find a prevalent supply of beer, dogs, nachos, and AC!!!! GTG and I retreated there for an inning.
The best moment of the game (sorry Betsy and Rob - they had to leave for a plane back to Florida) was the bottom of the 11th. The Cards were tied with the Astros 3-3, So Taguchi hits in the winning run to win the game! Awesome!

That was fun times. It was so good to see you guys! Totally sad I missed Taguch in the clutch. I was somewhere between Busch and Lambert on the Metra. Boo.
Watched a kid eat a cracker off the floor with permission from his dad. Sick. 5 second rule does NOT apply in public transportation.
Back in Florida now. It’s hot. And there’s no rain.
