Lunch Time Blog

Nothing too interesting has been happening this week… excuse me … GTG is an official high school English teacher. 4-real. Congrats to her!

GTG school stories are much more interesting than my “took 15 emails before we got the thing fixed” rants. Last night she told me of a student who had submitted a complete essay copied directly from the Internet. Yes, copied. The killer was that it wasn’t even one of those ones you buy. Just a free, do a Google search, cut and paste essay.

Unbelievable… In hindsight, I copy others people work all the time. But I guess computer programs don’t necessarily fall under that stipulation.

Question: Rules from your yesteryears, would they pass this day in age?

For some reason the comment system has been screwy lately.. Try to get it fixed this weekend.

What do you mean about rules from your yesteryears? Do you mean, like, don’t run with scissors? Practical things like that? Or do you mean, like, don’t eat pop rocks and drink coke at the same time cuz your head will explode stuff?
