Who knew you could get so excited about a Tuesday!!!
Tonight will mark the last night of bowling for my league. After 30 weeks of bowling, I am bowled out.
This year I boosted my average up from last year’s 148 to 165, but was unable to reach the goal of a 600 series. Roommate Kyle bowled a 300, got a shinny ring with a diamond that would attract any hot babe! (Note to self: don’t let Roommate Kyle wear ring around GTG.)
The Lucky Strikes have done relatively well as a team. I’ll need to check the numbers, but I believe we are in 5th place out of 11. This year was tougher though with 3 new teams and talent to contend with. Besides Roommate Kyle there were 4 other people that bowled a 300 or were within 3 pins.
It is still up in the air if I will return to bowling next year. It’s a physical and mental sport that is tiring on the body and mind. The off season will determine if I have the strength and a healthy enough body to perform with the weekly abuses of beer guzulers, chain smokers, and ball smackers.
I’m excited about Tuesday, because it means I have tomorrow off! I’m pretty dissapointed that you booted me off your links.

Nattie, I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have started out with my best story. Now they can only get worse or less true. One time when I was little I got a Kix stuck up my nose, and I was taken to the emergency room. That’s not nearly as funny though.
Interesting… We used to get drunk in high school, listen to the Adam Sandler CD, then go mess with this one goat that lived by my house. We decided one night to play football with him, just like on the CD, and we hit the goat in the head, and he charged at my friend Jordan. Then we gave the goat some Everclear to drink, and he was way, way cooler.
That’s my random, fun story for the day.
Dave, I was going through my OLD OLD stuff last night, and in addition to finding “Louie the Lightning Bug” stickers from 1984, I found an old Christmas card that you made for me probably 10 years ago. Oh MAN that was the best archeological expedition through my apartment EVER!

Dave, I finally got a chance to check out your website. It kept me entertained for 34 minutes, until a State Rep called to tell me a handicap gentleman parked too close to her car, and now her Mercedes is “tainted” with what are obviously marks from a wheelchair. I kindly told her to stop parking so close to the handicap spaces and to enjoy her trip back to Chi-town. Have I mentioned lately how much I love my job??????
