Saw your vehicle out late on Friday Shoo, but never saw you. Damn shame too cuz Gabe was in town, and Lindsey Fletcher, plus my lil bro was out celebrating his 21st. There was some festive fun-ness going on. I’ll send you some interesting pix to prove it!
Why didn’t anyone else post today? I’m so bummed. Things were highly stressful around the office today, and I could have used some comic relief. Thanks a lot you guys.
When I was in college at ISU, some guys I knew decided it would be fun to kidnap a sheep from the college farm and try to get it into the dorms. This was extra challenging because it was late and access was restricted, meaning you had to show your ID at the front desk and be on the list before they let you in.
Getting the sheep from the farm was pretty easy, and once they arrived to the dorms it took a little college ingenuity to put things in motion. One of them worked at the Subway in the dorm’s lobby, and this person wheeled an empty garbage can out the front door, where they sealthily loaded the sheep from the truck into the garbage can. Then they wheeled it past security and right onto the elevator.
This is when I was called to come over with my videocamera. We got some footage, fed the sheep a salad, and decided to call it a night. But what was to happen with the sheep?
We tried putting him in the elevator and sending him down to the lobby, but we accidentaly put him on an elevator going up. By the time it was on its way down again, it was empty. Mr. Sheep was, well, on the lamb.
We ended up finding him a couple floors down on the other side of the building. Then we successfully sent him down to the lobby where local officials were called to escort him safely home.
The newspaper caught wind of this, and my roomate and I got to go out to the farm and get pictures of the sheep. I think the little fella winked at me, as if to say “Thanks for the night out.”
I hope you enjoyed your story and have a better day tomorrow.
Dave, you are a treasure. That’s a great story. I didn’t get to read it before I left last night, but it’s the first thing I read this morning. I can tell, today will be a better day.

That might one of the greatest stories I have ever heard!!!
I am very jealous I don’t have a story like that!! Well, the Steve Memorial Golf Outing is fun, but that happened on a Saturday afternoon!!
