MOSS BLUFF, Fla. - A man accused of fatally beating his roommate with a sledgehammer and a claw hammer because there was no toilet paper in their home has been arrested.

I’m going to call Kristine right now and tell her I love her. I have nightmares all the time that she sells or subleases our apartment and doesn’t tell me. But I think maybe killing someone over no toilet paper may be a tad extreme.

Yeah, on Monday I got to watch Wallace and Grommit: Curse of the Wer-Rabbit. Well, actually the tail end of it. I started it at the beginning of my break and then saw the last half hour of it.

Sledgehammer??? My God…there had to be a sign before that. Pay attention dude! However, I had a roommate that would hit snooze for 2 hours every morning starting at 5:00am (with the radio blasting) and then never even go to class. I can’t lie, murderous thoughts did cross my mind a couple times.

All I know is that I had a problem with TP buying and restocking at my 1st apartment up at college. 5 guys and 1.5 bathrooms. Yeah, I know. So my solution was that after I had bought a few times and they hadn’t taken their turn to buy, I would just keep my own roll in my room and take it with me when needed. They got the idea.

D.G., i had the roommate who would do that, and then i had one who got up at 5 a.m. when her alarm went off, and she would brush her hair (which was ridiculously unhealthy and curly) right by my bed. so not only did i get nasty troll hairs in my face as i was sleeping, but i also had to listen to her brush tear through her gawd-awful hair.
i had to move sharp objects away from my bed, or i’d chuck something at her.

I have noticed that the toilet paper consumption has greatly increased with the addition of the three 18 year old interns living in my basement…I am thinking of instituting a policy…if they start digging into my girl scout cookie supply, there could be some negative effects!

Oh, and as far as the comments about the roomates who never wake to an alarm…I was one of those…Sophmore year, my alarm would go off (right next to my head by the way) and my neighbor would hear it, pound on the wall, and then I would wake up…it became our mid-morning ritual (luckily we were friends and I never had class before 10!)
