Talked with K on the phone yesterday at lunch. He is in good spirits but looks like he is going to have to have another surgery. If you didn’t know, he went into the hospital for pancreatitis. From what I’ve read about disorder, his pancreas is inflamed because gall stones have blocked a passage in his pancreas. He has not had anything to eat since Sunday in order to give time to let his pancreas heal. But in a few weeks will have to return to have his gallbladder taken out.
I am going to head up to the hospital tonight to see him. He said that he would be in the hospital till Friday.
