I am so happy I get to post this picture again!! Its the best! Roommate Kyle bowled a 300 for the first time tonight, during LEAGUE! First person on our team to do it.

After the 6th strike, I refused to give him a high-five, even when he offered me after I would strike. Its that whole superstition thing.

I’ve got video of the last 3 strikes on my cell phone. I’ll get around to posting… maybe next year.

I think he gets a silver ring with a diamond!! BLING-BLING. A watch. And probably a tshirt that says, “I got my 300, where’s your’s?”

Congrats again roommate Kyle!

Ahh Thanks Giving Week-Weekend. How my wallet loves thee. Traditionally, the evening before Thanks Giving is one of the busiest bar nights of the year. Everyone is home to celebrate and relax.

The sexiest bartending duo and the best bartender in Springfield manned the bar for the insane thirsty gobbling crowd. It was a pretty good crowd. We had some good tippers, some lousy ones, and then stupid people with credit cards. K, the seasoned door man, was at his post making sure our allstar team of bartenders did not have worry about the underagers.

Most of the night was a blur of restocking, making drinks, and batting eyes at the cute girls. Okay, ugly girls too. Just trying to make a dime!!

The bar groupies were in tow, but Ed and I were in full force meeting the demands of the crowd.
No crazy or interesting stories that I know of.
Thanks to all that came out and shared a drink with us!

I know we are all thankful how gotshoo.com and how it helps us escape from work, but what are you really thankful for this year?

I am thankful that people actually read this, which does nothing for me except make me think I am entertaining.

I am thankful for Melissa’s speeeeling. Gives me a laugh everyday.

I am thankful for K, being K.

I am thankful for Nattie, putting my state dollars to work. She works them hard.

I am thankful for Jager, for the ratio of beers that I have served to him is far greater than I have consumed from him. (1 Mill:0)

I am thankful for my roommate Kyle and orange soda.

I am thankful for Amanda because Ed doesn’t call me all the time to go to the bar.

I am thankful for Ed, because he is one half of the sexiest bartending duo.

I am thankful for Sarah because she makes me look good.

I am thankful for SternO, cause’ he draws good and someone hired him to a good job coloring color books.

I am thankful for Merf, because he can’t post Cub stuff anymore!!! YA!

I am thankful for the bar, well because its’ always there.

This picture below is what I awoke to this morning. Puzzled I questioned all of the orange-ness!? I asked Roommate Kyle why he had purchased so many orange products. He informed me that he had a thirst for orange drink.

Anyway. That’s 2-12 packs of meijer brand orange soda, 3 orange Power-Aids, and a gallon of orange Gatoraid.

I am expecting Roommate Kyle’s skin to change to a hue of orange.. Of course I will take pictures when this occurs.

I am sitting next to Good Time Girl at one of my favorite places that where I like to say that I am actually working but more than less end up surfing the internet and updating my blog. Ohh, where am I sitting at? Panera, of course. GTG just went up to get a chocolate-thingy. Yes, this blog is coming to you in “real-time” in “real-life.” And I think I just heard GTG order chocolate-thingy as “Can I have a chocolate thingy?” Can’t wait to see what this thingy really is?! Oh the suspense. And.. And… its not really chocolate.. More like a pastry with… chocolate in THE MIDDLE. So, really its a chocolate-PASTRY-thingy. I can’t remember, isn’t GTG really an English teacher? I thought my grammar was poor. I think I got her beat. Okay, on to the weekend recap.

Friday… ohh sleep how I love thee. I passed out right after work. Later on made it downtown to the bar to see Philly and Catherine (pictures have been update on flickr), K, GTG and her friend Mandy, and an array of other people.

Saturday… Errands day. Finally removed the heap of clothes sitting on the floor of my living room and donated it to Salvation Army. Also, donated my old bed frame. Yes the Jr. SB. Later on, being the gentleman that I am, I took GTG out for dinner at Saputo’s. I think I scored a few points with that move. Oh ya! (going to get a look for that comment)

Sunday… That would be today. Met LC for lunch at Panera where she updated me on her digging in the earth, showed me her new iPod Nano and made me jealous. Afterwards, GTG joined me and reminded me once again that I am the “computer nerd.” I then reminded her again that she is just as nerdy as I am, and it pays the bills. Our ultimate goal for the day today is to score some free cookies.
