I am sitting at home and don’t know what to do with myself… Actually, I do know what to do, but I am not having any of it at this moment. I am not unemployed, just between jobs, and still technically hold a job at the bar. The new job starts next week right after returning from Florida.

I would practice tying my shoes. Maybe brush my teeth a couple of times. Go out on the porch, have a smoke.

The first time I ever heard the term “punching the clown” was when I called a guy friend crying because I had walked in and caught my boyfriend, well, “punching the clown” and I didn’t know what to do, and I was embarrassed and he was mad at me and all my friend could do was laugh hysterically and say “so you caught (name omitted to protect the guilty) punching the clown, eh?”
