Tomato Plant

My three tomato plants have grown together in a super force of tomatoes. They are going to grow into Killer Tomatoes!!!

Here are my babies… illuminated in the night light.

When I am walking I strut my stuff…

I am going to take a few days off from ‘blogging.’ I am on a mini-blog strike. Remember when teachers would just take off and put on a slide show or movie? Kinda what I am doing right now. Any requests for pictures?? I have about 4 years worth on my computer.

This is from Halloween a few years ago

Farah’s birthday…. the “one” birthday. This was at Stella Blue

Wrigleyville, Chicago.

This is in Collinsville. I took it on a Cards v. Cubs baseball game trip for my good buddy K

On the way to Eastern University.

Ed showing his Nola style

Road trip… that’s me in the background. Not my most glorious morning.

My girl….umm grill

Found some pictures of me cleaning and putting in a new burner in my grill. This is way back when Kyle and I moved in.

Look at her! She is just ready for some good meat.

Yes, I know how to screw.

Details, details, details..

Popped Collar

I decided to rock the popped collar last night. I enjoyed it. It’s high fashion for the average Shoo-man. Comparable to the mullet it allows a gentleman or lady to be business one minute and the center of the party the next.

What are your thoughts on the ‘popped collar’?

Holla at’cha boi.

Something witty that I said last night that I can’t remember.

This is a Gotshoo PSA…IT’S FRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDADDDDDDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

Ahh. Now doesn’t that feel good?

My neighbors got this dog that is practically a rat dog. It stands no taller than 4″ and my size 9 shoe could easily over take it. His name is “Bruiser.” The dog is only 7 weeks old. I have seen guinea pigs bigger than this pooch. Imagine the size of the poo: mini-poo.

Heading to the ball game with Ed and Duf this evening. Expect to see Ed and myself on the jumbo-tron yelling, “SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TAAAAAAAAAAGUUUUUUUUCHI!”

Awesome.

Kiddie Pools of Sweat

I give up on the camping recamp; just was too fun to remember. Although I am pealing like a baker’s dozen worth of snakes. Its fun and irritating to have skin to peal off. I think I have left a trail of skin around the apartment…. ewwwwwwwwwwwww

As for this week, not being any different from any other week, I am busy once again. I caught up on some sleep last night and some Sim City action. Also did lunch & dinner with SternO. Stern? Does this mean we are going steady? Feed Store for lunch and Amber Jack’s for dinner. Stern expected me to entertain him last night; sorry dude. I was just burned out from working 8 at the job and 8 at the bar from the night before. Sorry dude. But you did enjoy the pictures on Kyle’s computer!?

It was a hot son-of-a-gun yesterday. OF course, I was out 3/4 the day measuring and taking care of issues. At one point I had to disrobe my shirt. Not like everyone else on the jobsite didn’t have their shirt off. I was sweating so much I had kiddie size pools of sweat on my forearms.

This weekend is another crazy weekend. Cardinal - Cubs game Friday and Saturday and a toga party at Mojo’s on Saturday. I was offered tickets to Sunday’s but I think I probably will need a day to recover.

Anyone else going to the Cards - Cubs series this weekend??? Holl’a back yo!

Where is the weekend recap??

The weekend recap is currently on hold until further notice. I had to work at the bar last night, and I got quite a bit of work to do. Sorry kids….

K? How about a weekend recap from you?

Tease

I am burnt red, lost a sandal, and ripped my trunks right through the seam….

More about my weekend later.

Where’s your head at?

Eary mornings bite my wonderfully toned ….

I got to be in Petersburg by 8am. Eh-gats! Then working tonight at Browns. Two long work days packed into one. So people, please come visit me tonight. Really. I’ll make you a deal. All IMPORT beers half off. $2 bucks. It’s called the ‘Ahhh-shooey beer special!’

Peace OUT!

“Where did my Shooey go?”

“Where did my Shooey go?”, sputtered Kirsten at Browns last night. That was her reply after telling her my dinner was a salad.
as I sipped on my diet coke without any additional liquids and previously running 3 miles with her at the gym.

Maybe it’s Mark, my personal trainer / Chicago Greek bar friend? Or could it be because of Kyle and his strong will and determination to change his diet. Or even Philly training for a marathon in the fall. There is a wisp of healthy air going around or some really strong B.O.

Anyhow, things are going great. Planning to ride with Philly this afternoon.

I am going to be so buff, “BEEF CAKE!”

Rain

Isn’t it nice to have a mid-July rainy day in the Midwest? My tomato plants are going to soak this one up. I am about a 1/2 week from getting the flowers to bloom on it. It will make for a muddy ride on the trails; I’ll enjoy that though!

Other than that, business is usual.

However I’m looking for the rain to stop before the end of the week. Heading down with a bunch of friends the Ozarks for some canoing and camping.

Question for everyone (this will take you back to grade school). I need to know what you have done on your summer break (I guess we don’t get those anymore as adults) or what you are going to do? I need your response to be in the form of a 5 paragraphs: introduction, 3 paragraphs in detail, and a conclusion. Remember to use the 1st person form when writing and your conclusion must restate your introduction but not recite it. Name, date, and teacher name: Mr. Shoo must be on the top of your paper. I will not take papers later than 3pm Wednesday.

Crap.

I just saw a hot girl leave pretty headily from my neighbor’s apartment. I will have to investigate this later. How dare they piss off hot girls. Will have to setup the ‘hot-girl’ trap for the next one.

I woke up this morning and the first thing on my mind was to blog. Blog, yes a term that has become so prevalent in today’s everybody is a techno-weenie. I powered on one of my three, yes mine and not my room mates, computers. Like a literary master I was ready to put my thoughts down to the white screen. I wrote one of the best blog posts ever. There was drama, incite, sexual tension, and pictures. Then just as I was 3/4 finished with my 4 page blog post, the stupid touch pad on my work laptop crapped out on me and started doing weird things. So weird it closed my browser window!!!!! Pissed off is an understatement.

But if I remember… it kinda goes like this. (without the detail and sexual tension)

What a Saturday!!! A beautiful day it was. From minute one my day was jam packed with things to do. I started the day doing an hour ride on the dirt trail by the lake. Afterwords SternO stopped by and made me go to the mall. I think it was for pink hand towels for his bathroom. As soon as I got back, Rob and Kyle wanted to go bowling and thats just what we did. My game was far under par but they bowled their average’s.

After bowling, I came home and cleaned up. Laura and I were going to Magic Kitchen; only the best Thai food in Springfield. Dinner consisted of crab Rangoon, a six pack of Killian’s, she had Pad Tai, I had Chicken Fried Rice. It was delicious!

Swim trunks in hand we headed to Katie C’s boat for some party cove action. Well just a little action before the sun went down. There were about 9 of us on the boat when we arrived to handful of boats in the cove. And the ones left were some of the best of the best. One boat had the American and POW MIA flags proudly displayed on the back of the pontoon and a very white girl in a orange bikini dancing to the classic 90’s hit Sir Mix A Lot’s ‘Baby Got Back.’ It was a beautiful dance. So beautiful while I was floating in the water with a cold one in one hand I proclaimed, “I MUST BLOG THIS!”

Sunday was a little more relaxed. Biked for an hour on the dirt trails once again. Did a few loads of laundry. Wrote this blog post for the day for the second time, and now as I type getting ready to make a trip to Baskin Robbins.

Have a great week!

Week are you finished? I am ready for weekend.

This weekend looks like it will be a little more tame than last weekend string of Chicago bliss. I think I might unload the clean pile of clothes and put stuff away. Scrub the tub. Sort my spices by alphabetical order. Wash the floors…

Wait, today is July 8th?!? Ed comes home from his voyages in the wild Alaskan Tundra! PARTY!!!!! Screw cleaning and chores! I am sure he will have wild tales of snow Angels and special No. 7 moments. I wonder if the cold made his hair grow back? All I get from his gf is how she doesn’t know what to do with all the ….(cough)….. she misses him. SOS. It will be good to have my very hairy chested yet bald friend back in the Field’. Can’t wait for a night working at the bar so we can “wooo” the women with our sexiness and make big bank.

Hey Ed, I know you might not have been able to watch any of the Cardinal games but the Cards as of today are 12 1/2 games ahead of the Astros.

Chicago

I think I was complaining last week that the world was too small and I needed some big city fun. Boy did I have some fun :)

I went up to Chi-town with SternO this last weekend for a classic Chicago Cubs game; they lost, to the Nationals. Wrigley was an experience. I’ve been to quite a few stadiums and arenas, but Wrigley was much more low key than any place than I have been before. There was no big screen, just 3 - 2′ x 20′ tickers that would flash the score and the famous hand operated score in center field. Hot dogs and beers were cheaper but small than what you would get from Busch Stadium. $5.75 for an Old Style; I’ll let you be the judge of that. Dogs were 5 bucks. But nothing to the foot long from St. Louis.

Advertising was limited to the electronic tickers on the field else where inside the stadium Cingular was stamped promptly on about everything. I think the orange symbol was even on the bathroom sign.

That reminds me, the bathrooms. Back when Busch Stadium still had artifical turf all the guy bathrooms (don’t know too much about the womens) were troughs (be hell of a way for women to go to the bathroom). Wrigley has stuck with the communial bathroom. Can we say, “target practice.”

I enjoyed the game, and the eye candy, and the mullets and other assorted blue dressed creatures. Great time!
