Ok, excuse me for the lame post before this one. (I know if I don’t quickly repost that I will get the 3rd degree from K as if I already didn’t get it from Nattie about not posting about the Illini) That’s a good place to start, why didn’t I post anything about the Illini? Umm, in the age of cell phones, newspapers, internet, spoken language I figured that everyone had heard that they won and were going to the Final Four.
Why not the celebration? Honestly, I haven’t been watching the games that close. And the comparison to the Cardinals? I am a much bigger Cardinal fan. That answers that.
Now, an update on Shoo life and Shoo’s girl. Em and I went shopping for a laptop for her Sunday and found out that all the stores were closed for Easter. We then picked up the task again on Monday evening. BB might be my toy chest, but sometimes they just suck. We stood their for around 45mins trying to purchase a laptop. I was getting very cranky (Em can testify to this) because I was hungry, my leg hurt, and I was irritated. Mostly because I was hungry which reminds me that I have leftovers at Em’s place (score!). After going out to eat we returned to the blue monster. I told Emily that I was going to spear attack a sales associate if we didn’t get any help. Luckily enough, in the case of the store and and store associates, we were promptly helped by a young lady. She didn’t bother us at all with the stupid OVERLY PRICED replacement plans or extra cords or CDr’s or laptop carrying cases. I was very pleased after that and Em loves her new lappy.
I am at home today with the window open. I love this weather! I have major computer to complete by the end of the week. Everything looks good so far.
