I b’ gettin’

Don’t you hate when you write out a really long post and it disappears?? Same here. This is version 2.

Meliss had questioned on her blog

Have you ever considered mailing all the bad poetry you’ve written about ex-bfs to them in a manilla envolope- either to remind them how terriable they are or give both of you a good laugh. I don’t actually plan on doing that, but it’s an interesting (ok, crazy) idea

Ok, well first of all, I don’t have any ex-bfs. Maybe some gf’s that have switched teams, but no no no j/k. I have never written any poetry to a love one. I have posted stupid things on previous blogs about girls and how so-in-love we are. But in the end after time, it always sounds sooo stupid. So I try not to do that anymore.

But I did do something poetic one year for Valentines Day. I made my girls (about 6 of them) a personal CD where I quoted some Shakespeare mixed in with a little music along with songs about love - and doing, IT. I did some Sonnet. Don’t remember which one - I think there are over a hundred of them. I still have a copy of the CD. I sound sooo hot.

Side Note: Favorite Shakespeare comedy: Taming of the Shrew.

There you go Meliss. I b’ gettin’.

Shoo, you’ve never read Taming of the Shrew. AND, I got letters from an ex-bf once (remember?) and it was NOT OK. The grand total was something like 14 letters. I think the odd-numbered ones were “i hate you” and even-numbered ones were “i love you.” Long story short, letters to exes are NEVER a good idea. (because i kept all of them and still read them to my friends and laugh.)
