You may have noticed the comment spam that I got from some casino annoying website. Word Press (the blogging program I use) took care of most of them. It’s actually blocked about 15 of them. But obviously some got through. So, I did some research, and made the rules a little more stringent for posting comments.
This week is going to be the best week ever or the worse week ever. It mostly depends on the outcome of (not the world series, Ed) me getting employment. I am not stressed out. Ok, yes I am. I just really want this job. It would be the next best thing to winning the lottery. I have done all that I can. Even sent the “Thank-you follow up interview letter.” I told my mom about sending out the letter and she was like I have never done that before. In this day of age, it seems you have do everything from bribes to begging and kissing feet to get a job. I checked the Sunday paper today and there were 2 entries for IT jobs. And one of them was just a generic advertisement that’s always in the paper.
But have no fear. I think I am rather convencing that I’d do anything for a job, even give up my first born. (ok, not really, but really close)
Ok, after the situation of the job, then the outcome of the World Series.
I know how it is looking for a job and wanting to get one that you know you would just be great for and it in return would be great for you. I’ll keep you in my prayers. Good luck buddy.
Hey, you did the right thing with the “thanks for seeing me” letter. Very impressive and professional. I am quite impressed with you Shoofly. For your sake, I’m hoping that all goes well with this job thing. I am not hoping, of course, that the cardinals win the world series… I’m also hoping Boston doesn’t sweep them, because that would just be shameful. All I know is, the cards better strap one on, and start showing up to play ball! Anyhoo, Shoo, good luck with the interviews etc… You can always count on me to be your cheerleader (and reference)!
