Let’s get this party STARTED!

“After two games it seemed inevitable. After five it became improbable. After seven, it’s real,” quoted from the St. Louis Post-Distpatch.

Game 7 rocked my world. Plain and simple. I spent a whole season watching Pujols, Edmonds, Rollen, Walker, and the rest of the Cardinal crew do something that was unthinkable in the begining. I went to about 8-10 games this year. (I need to count my ticket stubs) Unheard of for me before this year. I thank Ed for boosting my interest in a sport that I could watch everyday; even a really long slow game. And I’d like to thank him again for the awesome playoff tickets!

A playoff game is so much different than a regular season game. The signs (My favorite: “Let’s talk about the birds and not the Bees”) are everywhere, the beer flows at twice the rate, the fans get crazier, the game gets more intense, the prices go up, the traffic jams get longer, the gasps of air on close plays in the stadium could literally suck in the universe…

This playoff season has been an intense battle in both the American and National league. Boston coming back from 3 games down. The Cardinal’s 3 losses in Houston. The media defiantly payed more attention to the NY v. Boston series. You can thank Fox for most of that. But I forsee the Cardinals shocking the East coast that there is actually a team better than both Boston and NY.

I hate the Yankees. Evil empire.

More later … “After the game”

That’s great that you were able to remove those fpo postings but now my comments look out of place without the reference point of those posts… oh well…
