Today is a big day for myself and the Cardinals. I can’t believe I am the starting pitcher!
Well, not exactly. I’ve been a ‘little’ hush-hush about it, but I have an interview today (in about 40mins). I haven’t been nervous till this morning, but I think its more excitment than anything. I am not going to tell you anymore about the job unless the interview goes well.
And thank God that the Cardinals are not starting Scheufele (that guy can’t even make a throw to the plate)! Ed, myself, Phil, my lil’ bro will be heading down for the game today! I am taking my AM radio because I really miss listening to Mike Shannon call the games. I’ve caught him occasionally on the radio doing post-game interviews. Better than listening to the guys on FOX (or should be renamed to commissioners of baseball).

Good luck Shoo! I know your interview will go great. I’m not exactly going to root for the cardinals, but I hope you guys have a great day in the STL… Oh, and Mike Shannon’s a freakin idiot. I think that guy is drunk from the 1st inning on. He was talking on Monday night about how he’d never seen Isringhausen (spelling?) throw to first before. The other commentator corrected him and, said, “Yah, he’s never thrown to first this MUCH in a game before…” Oh well. Harry was a much more entertaining drunk…. But anyways, go Shoo! Let me know how the interview goes..
