It feels good to get something done.

I actually did work today.. Ok, computer work, if you want to argue - you can have my job! I wish I could tell you what I did, but I’d have to kill you or more likely put everyone asleep.

- Nattie thanks for getting the message to my mom.

Tonight, I am heading to see Posamist (Link) , but before all of that can happen I am heading to SuzyQ’s for a heaping pile load of burger and curly fry shoe. My nick is “Shoo” but how ironic how much I love Horse Shoes (the dish). I am going to pig out and then rock out with my shoo out.

Yes, another random post.

Beautiful weather

I forget that people actually read my site. I thought my audience consisted of just Melissa, Kyle, and Ed. Talked to Levi last night and he made mention to something that I said on the website. Caught me by suprise.

  • Note to self: watch what I say about people
  • Well my POS car will be in my name soon. I got the paperwork, contacted the insurance people, all I need to is get my dad’s John Hancock and I own a pile of crap. YA :) This month I think I will focus on what will it take to get a new car (or at least a used *nice car with paint and working parts) While I hate it, it still works. That’s what matters.

I got the afternoon flu today. All the sudden I felt like crap. Couldn’t and wouldn’t do anything. I don’t know what it was but its gone now. Eck!

    Enjoy the fall weather.

    Monday

Today is Monday and I working down at the bar. Usually, I would never have to work on a Monday but good ol’ Ed is stuck in Florida. Today was his day to work. His plane was suppose to leave Sunday evening, but because of Hurricane Jeanne, he’s stuck another two days in beautiful hurricane ridden Florida.

I got nothing else. I think I am going to go eat some Mc’ds.

    I will have another Cabernet.

This weekend was a great weekend. Great that I worked my ass off, or great that things are starting to fall in place, or great that I found my taste in wine. All and all a great weekend.

I spent most of the weekend working at the ‘bar’. I work two days instead of the usual one because Ed was in hurricane ridden Florida sippin’ champain living the good life and Mike was off for a get-a-way weekend with his wife in Atlanta. So it was up to myself and Lori to hold down the bar for the weekend. We worked great together.

One memorable moment was when this kid Curtis came in for his 21st bday. (I guess I can’t really call him a kid, being that he was 6′ 3″ and in the armed forces.) I was talking to him, his girlfriend, and their friend. Turns out that he was on leave from Iraq and was just home for his birthday. People that usually come in for their birthdays are usually nicer than normal but this guy was just a great guy. Of course he didn’t know what he wanted for his birthday drink so I whipped up a wicked Long Island for him. “Best one EVER,” he later told me. After that, I got him the traditional DH Browns poster. I don’t know why but I love writing super long paragraphs on birthday posters, so I wrote him some story about him being an abnoxious drunk and told him that he shouldn’t have been riding the waitresses like a cowboy. He loved it. I filled my counterpart Lori in about our golden boy from Iraq down at the end of the bar. She goes down to thank him for his services in Iraq. He replies, “I am just doing my job. Thank you for being my hot bartender!” Of course Lori loves it. She says, “Honey, do you know how old I am?” “No?!, 24ehhh” With laughter, “No hun, how about 11yrs older.” “What? 11 girlfriends? You are too hot! Thanks for being my bartender!” Lori replies to Curtis’s gf, “Keep this boy!” He told me later on that it just felt great being home with friends and family on his birthday.

    Truly a great guy.

    — More stuff about my weekend later —

Come on Internet… really.. you are not my type.

Girls I will not be dating

So I don’t know how (actually I do), but I am on this mailing list for an internet dating site. Every few days it sends me ‘hot’ girls that I would want to date. HA! Single as can be. So anyway… that’s them up above. If you went to HS with me you’ll recognize one of the girls. This is what make its so funny. I opened my email, I was like “GAAAAAHHHH.” Really.

So if I keep getting more of these, I’ll keep posting them.

    new music

I came across this band on the indie online radio stations I listen to. I hate chick bands. Except for the Donnas and this new band I just found: “Tegan and Sara.”

    Here’s their site: www.teganandsara.com

    Here’s some interview: Interview

Another indie group (which won’t be indie too long) is Citizen Cope. This guy rocks! Check out the music section and listen to “Bullet and A Target.” site:

That’s what I am listening to right now.

    No updates?

Well, I forgot my password, and the stupid forgot password function wasn’t working, so I had to wipe out everything. Ehh, not a big deal. But lets start the blog again.
